A lavish, bizarre casino mansion hosts an extravagant masquerade party, yet a terrifying tragedy unfolds repeatedly within its sprawling halls: every guest falls victim to brutal, horrifying murders. At midnight without fail, time rewinds completely, and the entire horrific sequence of killings replays identically in an endless, inescapable loop.
Players wake up dazed on the floor of a mansion room, wearing a mask marked with a bloody handprint. This peculiar mask shields you from the pervasive evil lurking throughout the mansion. Restricted from directly intervening at first, you can only observe, spy on the mansion’s inhabitants, and uncover each guest’s hidden secrets to break their doomed fate and rescue them from brutal death.
The game features 10 unique and gruesome murder scenarios with distinct and chilling death sequences. Players will witness terrifying deaths including arachnid evisceration, fatal immolation, and deadly impalement, alongside a host of other twisted murderous mysteries waiting to be unraveled.
All events inside the mansion unfold within a continuous 12-hour time loop, with every incident occurring simultaneously on a fixed schedule. Players need to explore and uncover the truth behind countless eerie phenomena: the gunshot echoing through the mansion at 3:45, the bell tolling after 6 p.m., the unexplained flickering lights every afternoon, and more. The endless cycle of slaughter will never cease until you take action to break it.
The mansion is filled with distinctive and peculiar characters, all trapped in the deadly loop and repeatedly killed by gas-masked staff. Key characters include Sixpence, a genius clockwork mechanic powerless against a fatal bullet; Trinity, a gifted, beautiful blind artist ensnared in a deadly predicament; and Clay, a brutish bouncer incapable of surviving pure spider venom. Each character has their own story and unique deadly fate for players to uncover and alter.
Saving each trapped guest rewards players with a powerful new supernatural ability, bringing fresh gameplay possibilities alongside greater responsibilities. The Clockwork Mask allows players to manipulate and control time to seize every crucial moment. The Moth Mask enhances hearing, letting players detect the faint whispers and hidden secrets of the mansion’s murderers. The Voodoo Mask unlocks supernatural vision, enabling players to perceive ghostly and otherworldly phenomena hidden from ordinary sight.
